Dr. Bruno earned his BS from the University of Notre Dame and his MD from the University of Connecticut, where he also performed an internship in surgery. He served as a resident in surgery and urology at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and was Chief Resident of Urology from 2006 to 2007. Dr. Bruno performed additional training in urology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and New York Medical College. He has published many peer-reviewed articles on prostate and kidney cancer in addition to co-authoring chapters on trauma to the genitourinary tract.Dr. Bruno joined Urology Associates of Danbury, P.C., in 2007. In addition to general urology, Dr. Bruno's areas of special expertise are minimally invasive surgery including robotic and laparoscopic surgery of the prostate and kidney, endourological management of stone disease, and urethral reconstructive surgery. He is an active member of the American Urological Association, the Endourological Society and is an attending urologist at Danbury Hospital Center.
